The Community Health Assessment (CHA) is compiled every 3 years in partnership with our local hospitals and community coalitions. We work together with the community to identify health priorities that will guide the work of Alleghany, Ashe and Watauga County. One way this is done is to ask our community about their needs through a survey.
Everyone should have the opportunity for health. Some things like not having food or reliable transportation or a safe place to live can make it hard to be healthy. The purpose of this survey is to collect an accurate snapshot of community needs in our area with a focus on the impact of COVID-19 this year.
