Sara Halsey, FNP-C, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout the community. She joined AppHealthCare in March 2017 as a registered nurse and has nearly two decades of nursing experience spanning family medicine, public health, and emergency care.
Sara earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Walden University in May 2026. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent nine years serving patients in public health and family medicine and nine years as an emergency department nurse, giving her a broad clinical background and a deep understanding of the healthcare needs of rural communities.
Sara is passionate about public health and is honored to continue serving the community she calls home. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their best health through preventive care and compassionate support.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, camping, and gardening.
