Logan grew up in a small town in central Illinois before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she earned her bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience, Biology, and Psychology at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. While working as a patient care technician in an emergency department during undergrad, she discovered a passion for understanding human behavior within relational and developmental contexts. This led her to pursue a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Appalachian State University, where she got the opportunity to intern at Ashe County High School. Logan now lives in West Jefferson and practices as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A) with AppHealthCare, providing therapy to children at Blue Ridge Elementary and Ashe County Middle School. She incorporates a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and experiential therapy through play therapy and expressive arts. Rooted in systems-based thinking, Logan’s work focuses on fostering meaningful, lasting change in individuals and the relationships that support them. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling to visit friends and family.
